Bentley Motors announced today during their annual sales update to motoring journalist that they have been succeeding in their bid to recover from the sales slump experienced during the world-wide economic crisis. Things are looking for the Crewe based company as they target to sell as many as 11,000 cars this year (2014) with revenues topping over 1 Billion GBP and operating profits upwards of 100 Million GBP.
To the layman and most top executives of MNCs worldwide, that is not a number to be shunned at.
However, Chairman of Bentley Motors have stated that they are happy with what they have done but will continue to strive to achieve even better numbers to better contribute to their stakeholders and place more Bentleys on the roads all around the world.
With the upcoming introduction of the all new Bentley SUV, this is certainly a possible as with what Porsche has done by introducing the Cayenne and now the Macan, it became the best selling car in Porsche’s entire lineup.
Here’s to wishing Bentley Motors the very best of luck and Bentley enthusiasts such as ourselves can never get enough of this British brand.
