Bentley has announced plans that it might potentially want to target the exclusive segment of ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals that are even more elusive that the current clientèle that Bentley has amassed over the year. Board member of the sales team, Kevin Rose, has said that there is indeed good money to be made from such buyers but luring them away from cars such as the LaFerrari, McLaren P1, Lamborghini Veneno, and the Aston Martin One-77 will be no easy feat.
Although mass-produced cars from the Bentley, Ferrari and Lamborghini range are not anything cheap or affordable to the mass public, these special, extremely limited editions will be priced closed to or even well over a million dollars. Well out of reach of anyone but the wealthiest 0.001% of people in this world.
However, having established themselves as a premium marque and selling more cars than ever before, Bentley Motors might be in a good position to take the next step.
We’re not too sure the other Italian marques are going to be pleased when they hear this.
