Hot off the press following the release of a confirmed production of Bentley latest’s foray into the SUV market, alongside its confirmed 2000 pre-orders, Director of Sales & Marketing at Bentley Motors, Kevin Rose, has apparently said that a hybrid/electric version of the new Bentley SUV, dubbed to be called the Bentley EXP 9 F, will “certainly” be offered together with the W12 and V8 models.
With the world becoming more concerned with global warming and being kinder to the environment, a hybrid Bentley SUV would appeal to those who wants the looks and practicality of the new SUV, without the huge gas bills and environmentally-damaging CO2 gases produced along with it.
Expanding the EXP 9 F line-up to include a hybrid model would also highlight that Bentley themselves are looking to put the Porsche Cayenne as a direct competitor and trying to emulate its success.
From past news we know that the price point of this new SUV from Bentley would most likely be priced similar to that of a Porsche Cayenne Turbo and will be going into production some time in late 2015 or early 2016, depending on how smoothly along the project is going.
We are one are very excited as this would be the first SUV to be produced by Bentley since its inception.
