A 2013 Bentley Continental GT V8 has been abandoned in New York City after being involved in a hit-and-run accident with another vehicle. The story was first reported by Complex Rides magazine and their pictures show the white Continental GT V8 with front and side damage.
According to reports, the Bentley hit another car before fleeing the scene and was found parked along the side of the road by officers who were investigating the accident. The driver from the other vehicle was sent to the hospital with injures that were not life-threatening. The driver of the GT however, was no where to be seen.
Seems kind of silly running away from the car though since the owner of the vehicle can be traced through the tags on the car through the DMV. Unless, the car was stolen, it is hardly possible for the owner to deny responsibility or knowing who was driving the car at that point in time.
What a waste of a perfectly good Continental GT V8 however, in white none the less (our favorite color for the new Continental GTs). If you’re asking how we know it’s the V8 model, take a look through the pictures and see if you can tell as well. Let us know in the comments below what you think makes us so sure that this isn’t the W12 variant of the car!
Once again, thanks to Complex Rides magazine for the pictures!
