Latvia’s famous (or infamous) luxury car automaker, Dartz, has unveiled their latest creation just in time for the Chinese Lunar New Year. Codenamed the Continental GT “SS”, which stands for Snake Skin.
For those who are not aware, in the Chinese Lunar Calendar, 2013 is actually the year of the Snake. With that in mind, Dartz has set out to create a one-of-a-kind Bentley Continental GT W12 which is covered entirely in snake’s skin. For those animal welfare activist or PETA supporters, fret not, the “snake skin” is actually a vinyl which is worked on to make it look almost real.
The car is question is actually NOT the face-lifted Bentley Continental GT but instead, an older model. This is due to the fact that Dartz has been working on this project for the past 2 years.
The price on top of the original price tag of US$200,000 for the car would be an additional US$12,000 for the full wrap, including the interior and spraying the rims white. Other than those modifications, the rest of the car remains relatively stock standard.
From far though the car looks as though it’s white. Only when you’re close enough do you notice the intricate details. We like it, do you?
